Hi. Heather and I will have Silver laced Wyandotte, Barred Rock, Buff Orpington, Blue Andalusian and EE hatchery sexed chicks. We will also have some straight run Polish /Silkie X, Golden Sebright/Silkie X and a few other X's. 2 four week old serama pullets and 3-4 4 week old barred cochin pullets. I think that's it. See you all tomorrow!

I have a polish /silkie cross that is all black. She stands more upright and has the smoothest black feathers and a small narrow creast that is slicked backwards! She looks like a crow, so I named her Raven, cause Crow sounded a little odd! LOL Suppose to be in the 60's so as long as it is not windy, the day should be nice! I am the happy weather person now.....What a nice day! LOL

Yes, you will be glad to hear it is a roo!!! LOL I have some 4 week old serama/OE/EE crosses that are soooo tiny, and one that is a week older that is a moose, but a very friendly moose. Debating on keeping that one or not! See you in the morning, looking foreward to a nice day with you gals! I hear the weather is going to be beautiful!

CHICKENENUS I think nobody wants to answer you for fear the Government spyies r watching. Though the minimum 12 NH Law makes a lot of money for hatcheries and grain stores it hurts the upcoming back yard chicken keepers. Lets over turn it!

I'm sure it was intended in part to stop impulse buying, but the law is outdated and not enforced. As in days of old, small backyard flocks are back. To force people to buy 12 or more at a time flies in the face of responciple stewardship.

Even at the Hooksett Agway last week, which profits from the law I heard complaining about it. The employee was telling a 70 year-old customer, 'sorry sir but the state is cracking down'.

Now some old small farmer has to own more than he needs. Towns nation wide that have chicken ordinances try to limit ownership to 4-6 birds and no Roos. Buying 12 at a time forces people to make a 'criminal' secondary sale.

It also doesn't allow for people who have 12 or more birds already and just want 1 or 2 more. It is a poorly written law protected by those selling thousands of dollars in chicks each spring. Let's over turn it.
