The Sky is Falling!
Twas’ the night before Christmas, and all through the house. Not a creature was stirring now even a chick. The feathers were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that Saint Chicken soon would be there. The chickens were all snuggled up in their beds while visions of corn dance dance in their heads. And I in my kerchief and mom in her cap each snuggled down for a long winters nap. When outside the house there arose such a flutter. I rose from my best to see what was the matter. Opened the windows tore open the sash and what to my wondering eyes should appear? But Saint Chicken andrew 8 flying geese!
