Mesh help! Goldilocks situation, too hot, too cold and none perfect.

Im in a bit of a predicament. Currently building a new coop and run for the girls

Ideally I want to buy 13x13mm 16 gauge weld mesh. (I'm in Ireland, I think this is 1/2" hardwire cloth in the states, but please correct me if I'm wrong) but I cannot source it anywhere. So my choices;

13x13mm 19 gauge
or
25x25mm 16 gauge.

I could double it up along the bottom. Which would you suggest/choose... Small holes weaker wire or bigger holes stronger wire?

Predator wise, we have foxes, rats and possibly mink. No snakes or bin bandits.

The 13x13mm, 19 gauge is the equivalent of 1/2" hardware cloth and that's the same gauge I used on my coop and run.
