With reactions on XF 2.1, you will still be able to like posts, but there will be more ways to "react" to a post than with just like, and we will be able to add custom ones.

If I remember correctly, likes were disabled in the games section of the old forum.

But if we were to entirely disable likes in that forum now, likes that were already given would remain counted.

Oh well. At least a year from now, there won't be 2 hundred thousand likes for what appears to be 200 messages.

If I like a post. I like it.
If someone is part of a really good conversation. I like it. Sometimes it’s just politely acknowledging them.
I don’t think a dislike button would be a good idea.
If I dislike something someone says I either...just read on...or reply
(usually with regrets)
Sometimes Less is More.
Likes are nice I guess. But it’s really not why I’m here. I like to learn. Maybe help others. Or be a sounding board when someone has gone through a terrible situation.
I don’t do social media for a reason (BYC only).
I don’t Myface or Space book. (Lol) because I just didn’t get the self absorption.
Do I know how someone gets 10k likes with 3k posts?
People must like their posts.
I don’t worry about it.
