About 2 weeks ago i hatched off about 10 silkie chicks. Two had splayed leg which i took care of by putting their legs together with a bandaid, within 2 days they were better and walking normally. One had something much worse wrong with it. I treated it for splayed leg because i thought thats what was wrong with it. After 3 days of having its legs taped together, it still couldnt walk. I noticed it had started walking on the side of it. I tried another method of keeping the legs together and still no luck after a few days it was still the same. This morning while i was checking on them i noticed it had a bigger joint than the other chicks. While i was holding it i cleaned some of the mess from its feathers from where it had been dragging the ground, the dirt/poop came off like a cast showing its joint. I'm not really sure what to do with it. Its not in pain and when i let the hen out with the other babies it stays right with her. I have it in the house right now, i cleaned the wound the best i could and now I'm stuck. Any ideas of what i should do?
