Wyoming Unite!!!!

It is a flower bud on my Spartan Apple tree.

I am predicting a poor fruit year because the unseasonably warm temperatures are causing the trees to bloom too early.
I was quoting the post with the green and purple thing coming out of the sandy ground. Is it some sort of flower stalk?

You're good.
We had wild asparagus growing at my family's place, it's very tasty.
So is my garden grown asparagus. Over the years it has become hybridized by allowing the seeds to come up in the patch. The hybrids do have a slightly different taste.
