Met my babies

Having some issues with the incubator. Finally got the temperature to turn up and now need to get the humidity up above 40%. My poor eggs are just sitting there waiting to be put in and start growing.

So glad we figured out what was going on with the incubator. It has now been up and running for a full day with temps and humidity holding. So we set the eggs!! Fingers are crossed they hatch. With the eggs sitting for s couple of days there are still floating bubbles. I am guessing those are the air sacs. If I get 2 out of this batch I'll be happy.

So here is what we are looking at on day 2. Hopefully I will be able to see more tonight on day 3 then try to not touch them until day 7. The waiting is so hard to do!!

Here is day 3. I am really hoping they dont all turn out to be duds. They are Lavander Americauna eggs so they are going to be harder to tell. And since this is my first time doing this I have no Idea what I am looking at. Let me know your thoughts.

Hre is an update on how things are going. We have the 10/12 shipped Lavender Ameraucana eggs that are on Day 9 in the incubator with 5 that are for sure developing. We had 12 started and 2 non started BBS Ameraucana eggs and 4 Lavender Ameraucana eggs that were all hand delivered on 9/11/16. 11 of the 12 are under Dash my Blue Ameraucana (she went broody Friday 9/9/16) the 1 of the 12 I put in the incubator as appears to be at day 16 today ( I am hoping that I am wrong and they will hatch closer to the first set eggs). Since those will be hatching soon I will be putting that one under Dash tonight after candling to make sure it is still alive. The non started eggs were put in the incubator on Sunday so I will do the 3 day candling on Wednesday night. I will post pictures soon.

Total bummer tonight in my shipped eggs. Only 3 are still going for sure as I can see chick moving. 2 are questionable due to being to dark to see more than a blob.
The BBS not started hatch is on day 3 of those two one has veins the other has a couple of veins but not in the right spot so it's questionable. The 4 Lavenders on day 3 one might not make it but not checking it due to the missing shell peice. The other 3 have good veins.
The 2 BBS that I took out from Dash are going strong and can see chick moving. Possibly on day 13-14 now but according to the breeder day 12.

The shipped eggs were on are day 14 last night so I candled and weighed them. Please let me know what you think. I know that there are a lot that I probably need to toss so let me know which ones those are in your opinion. I will put what I think above
each one.

Might have a chick in it but too dark to tell.

Early quitter or clear

Early quitter or clear

Did not develop at all.

Might have a chick but too dark to tell. Has a nice air cell.

I think it has a chick or a dud that is going to explode soon. Not to sure.

Clear

Saddled air cell is it possible to have a chick in there alive still?

Unsure about this one all together. but it does have a saddled air cell.

Chick moving inside

In Wednesday I put 5/12 shipped Lavenders under Dash. So she has 17 eggs under her. She is doing such a great job. 3/12 started eggs hatched last night. When the sun is up a little more I will go see if we have any more that have hatched. Dash did really well for a pullett and didn't kill her chicks when they hatched. So proud of her. And she is even warming up to me. She let the chicks out to see me instead of hiding them.
