I am trying to find some locally but may wind up ordering and this is very helpful to me.
I checked out Ideal but they are having a minimum of 20, I think, to get that special price. I don't want 20!
What a mess I would have! I think I just want about 8-12 all together and will get Runners, Khaki Campbell's, maybe Cayugas and I have someone local that can sell me a few Muscovy.
Oh, yes, I would love to get the Golden 300 hybrids! Egg production is my main objective. Thank you all, for letting me know about those!
We have decided to enclose a pen that is 100x100 (1/4 acre) with their coop and pool inside. They can free range later when I can trust them and know they aren't going out to hide eggs on me.
