Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

Yup, I agree with the wait and see approach ChickenMomma. I have 2 Buff Brahma and one was feathering in very slowly and one much quicker. I was told my slow feathering one was a roo but it turns out the quicker feathered one is a roo. Not super good news for you because one of mine did turn out to be a roo, but I guess you just never know.  

And as far as EE's go, I think you just don't know until at least 6-8 weeks. I have 4 EE's (all pullets as far as I can tell) and 2 looked identical as chicks and one feathered in brown/clean face and the other is black body/white head.   And my other 2 looked very very similar and one feathered in white/gray/beard and the other is salmon breast/brown body/huge beard.  So I hold out a lot of hope your EE's are both pullets!  I can't wait to see what yours look like. I love how they change so much.

Right now Amber is kind of black, dark brown, and light brown in some places, and she/he is starting to get some Amber colored feathers on her chest (what a coincidence! Same color as her name). Ellie for the most part is about 4 different shades of brown, and she is starting to grow some orange colored feathers on her neck.

When your EE's first grew in their feathers, did their feathers start out brown like my EE's? Or did their baby feathers grow in similar to the colors they are now?

All of the Easter-eggers I've had have grown feathers similar in color to what their adult plumage is like.

On page 96 of this thread I have pics of our EE growing up. She started chipmunk but her feathers coming in were pretty much what she had full grown (buff and grey).

They started to grown in both brown and other shades as well and then it seemed like overnight they changed completely I was taking pictures of them in the brooder, maybe 5 weeks old or so and I realized they were starting to change. Mine began on the chest first.
AND... they're still changing!

I'm so glad I got 4 of them. I was afraid one could have died in transit, one could have been a roo and one could possibly lay brown eggs so I thought that leaves 1 that could lay a blue or green egg. So now I have 4 pullets and hopefully I get a green/blue egg or two.
I'll have to do the chick/11 month pic of my Cleo too. I thought she was so plain before but now I think her face and coloring is so pretty. She's becoming one of my favs. None of my EE's are friendly but they're so pretty to look at I don't care.

The EE chicks I got from Meyer were so beautiful, and they are still beautiful at 8 weeks. One started out with the darkest chipmunk strips and now is almost completely black with a beard. My other was pretty light on the head and my kids say it looks like a little bald eagle running around. Both are so pretty. Too bad I think they're both roosters. Oh well.

I ordered 3 EE pullets from Meyer. They weren't as pretty to begin with, but they are starting to developing interesting streaks of color on their faces. It's so fun to watch the EE's change! Can't wait to be able to post some pictures!

It looks like they all have pea combs and green legs so you may well get 4 green/blue eggs. I love my EEs and their pretty eggs.

I love my EEs. I had no idea they would change so much. My kids say my chickmunk one looks like a hawk. It has the most beautiful golden feathers laced with a deep brown. My little one who was almost solid yellow now has black head and neck and a golden brown partridge body. They are both pretty and lay mint blue/green eggs.
