Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

My chicks are doing great!! I absolutely love watching them; they are so entertaining! They are now coming in and out of the coop at will and have adjusted well. I have some new outdoor photos and please, don't laugh when you see Sweet Pea/Pipsqueak. She gets the 'goofy award' for sure. Also, feel free to let me know if you see any cockerels. I have two in question! 7 weeks old: EE Mrs/Mr. Puff is in question: 2 Buff Brahmas: Carmella is first, I think pullet: And this is the one in question: Stella: AND I just noticed a crossbeak the other day :( her comb is much larger than Carmella and a little pink Here are a few more: Group shot EE: Izzy My bearded EE: BeeBee BA: Mamie Yes, you guessed it: Pipsqueak... (keep in mind, she is 7 weeks old!) Junior my Cuckoo Marans and my 'odd duck' she's a cutie pie! I took this photo as she was sitting on my back! My EE: Cleopatra BeeBee again Moe my White Cochin Cleo again, the EE: She was the first out of the box when they arrived in the mail and first out of the coop! Ok sorry, that was more than a few. Hopefully my EE's look like girls. Any ideas?
They are so pretty!!! I have never had EE's and this is just my guess. From what it looks like I think Mrs Puff is a girl, and Stella looks like he/she may be a boy. Like I said, I've never had EE's before, so I'm not positive.

My meyer chicks are supposed to hatch May 14. I am already getting anxious! I ordered
White Jersey Giant Female 1
Black Sumatra Male 1
German Spitzhauben (Appenzeller) Male 1
Light Brahma Female 1
Light Brahma Male 1
German Spitzhauben (Appenzeller) Female 2
White Cochin Standard Female 2
Black Sumatra Female 2
Columbian Wyandotte Females 4

The sumatras and the appenzellera I've never had before. I was somewhat put off by their picture of the white cochin, but I wanted a white one and saw some pictures (here) that were much better, so I ordered just one.

You are right about their photo of a white Cochin on their site. Not impressive at all. I happen to have one of their white Cochins right now, 6 weeks old. She's beautiful. gorgeous.

She was supposed to be a Blue Orpington, but they made a mistake. Her name is "Oops".

I got my four pullets the morning I had to go oot. I got them and put them in the coop with my 8 week olds. I'm home tomorrow and hope that they don't have lice. I am disappointed that they trim their beaks so low, takes some character away.

If I were you I would immediately check them closely for lice. Would hate for the 8 week olds to get infested. Hopefully it was just mine, and not yours. I am calling them soon.

I think Mrs. Puff is a girl. Her comb is quite small at this point and her pattern is even, not patchy. The rest of your EEs are girls. All girly patterns. :) I have no experience with Brahmas, but I think Stella might be a boy. And I'm actually leaning toward boy on Pipsqueak, too... My Biddy-bird was smaller than the others at that age, but she was fully feathered in by then. The rest look like girls, though!

I am going to have retract a little bit my glowing recommendation of Meyer Started Pullets. I should have looked a little closer before bringing them home, but it was a madhouse in the pullet barn. At any rate, one of them has a mild to medium crossbeak and also looks to have a case of lice. Yuck. Thank God I didn't just throw in with the other 2 flocks! I am sorts ****** actually.

Aw, that stinks! I wondered about the beak on the one. When I first saw it, I thought it had been trimmed back. :/

Let us know what they say when you call! I'm curious as to how they'll handle it. They've always been good with other things (for us, at least), so hopefully they maintain that here.

Two weeks from tomorrow for my chicks! :celebrate So excited! I've had the brooder set up since February, so I'm just running around like a madwoman without anything to do to prepare!

Only 10 days for me! I just set up my brooder yesterday. I keep going in the garage and looking everything over to make sure I'm ready. I'm so excited!! :celebrate
