Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

I just have to show off my Meyer's girls. They are 18 weeks this week. No one has started laying yet, but they are all getting close. My 21 week old pullets started laying last week, so I am guessing the Meyer's girls won't be too far behind.

Checkers my Exchequer Leghorn. She is the smallest bird, but her combs and wattles are twice the size of the rest.

Congrats! Nice breeds too and cute!

I was so excited that Belle went from laying a 42g egg (just made it from Peewee to Small) to laying a 56g egg (almost large!) the next day.

Once I cracked it open, I realized why...

Today's egg will probably be small. The interesting thing is that I think this egg was fertile. It looks like a bullseye to me.

She must have been kept with a rooster before she was shipped to me. I could get another week of fertile eggs. Too bad I am not prepared to try to hatch them!
Oh wow, that's so neat, you could have gotten some baby chicks in that deal!

Beautiful chickens! I especially love Buffy. Here is my Buffy, looks like a twin to yours:
I was really confused when I scrolled through the pictures, I was wondering when I posted a picture of mine.

Right now I have 10 big girls (RIR, 3 EE, 2BA, CW, Cochin, BR and BB) 7 little girls (2 Brabanter, 2 EE, 2 CCL and 1 white Silkie still wondering if boy or girl) I'm thinking of changing my Sept order to 1 Leghorn, 1 EE, 1 Rare Marans, 3 Golden Buff and 1 Welsummer but still not positive. I will probably give away the meanies (CW, Cochin and 1 BA) maybe another one as well. I'd like to keep it to 18 chickens.
Moe my Cochin is growing in new feathers but I was away for a day and came home to a run full of white feathers again so she's still losing some of her old feathers. I thought she was finished losing and just growing!
I have Cleo my clean faced EE in a broody cage. She is not a happy camper and is trying desperately to get out. I may have to put her in my garage tonight in the cage so she doesn't wake the neighborhood at first light tomorrow morning. She is seriously broody!! Wish I could give her eggs but it's way to soon.
Oh wow, you're going to have a lot of different ages. Hopefully the integration will improve soon.

The white leghorns are great, I wish we still had Snow. She was a great chicken and was so majestic looking. She really was only loud when she first started laying. Once she laid regularly she would get to the highest spot and announce that she laid an egg and that was it. She got along with all the other chickens and laid a lot. Great breed!

Rocky my PR was the worst broody and 3 times now! She would fight me when trying to get her out of the nest box. She would spread her wings and straighten her legs so it was difficult to remove her and she would also have a fit when she was in her cage. The other broodies were not as crazy. I guess some are just more determined then others.

I wanted to name one of our Buff Orps Buffy, but I lost that battle, so when we got the Buff Laced Polish, I claimed it! She is really sweet, but kind of skittish. All of my Meyer's girls started skittish, but they are getting very friendly.

They are soo soo cute!

Thank you. This is my second order Easter Egger. Silver Cuckoo Maran and a White Leghorn

Great pics! I love the dog and the eggs. I hope to mingle my dogs with the chickens someday. I'm more afraid the chickens will get over the fence after being chased by my dog and get eaten by something else. And those eggs are beautiful. I hope my marans and EE don't let me down. They should be here in two more months.
