Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

So sad to see. My hens who had sour crop would just stand in the run and fall asleep standing there. They had obstructions that kept their food from moving through the digestive tract. I was able to help one of them empty her crop and she is now doing fine, but, the other hen died, unfortunately. As Autumnhearth suggested, you should post a new thread on the Emergencies and Illnesses forum to get more help for her.

Well a coon attack could certainly put her in shock.  How was she acting before hand compared to after?  Clara our EE who was laid up for awhile is similar, she hates being picked up or petted but for those three days she would quietly sit on our lap or in a box on a towel while I dipped her beak into water or pet her.  She's back to being just as skittish as ever now.  But yeah head to the TSC they should have some chick saver or something similar.
Well she had to of been sick before the coon attack cuz she has been sleeping in the nesting box at night. She quit roosting a few weeks ago but she wasn't really hanging out with the other hens either. I noticed after the coon attack something was wrong with her and remembered she wasn't acting right before the attack either. So I'm not sure really

OK, did I miss it... who laid that top egg?? And Checkers is gorgeous!!!! I'm sooooo glad I ordered one and am really trying hard not to add another one to my order. I may be calling Monday a.m

The top egg is from my Marans, which did not come from Meyers. She has been laying for about a month, and she lays the biggest eggs. We call them dinosaur eggs.

I gave her a warm bath two days ago and flies came out of her bottom where her poop was stuck to her feathers. I cleaned her up and checked her belly she doesn't appear to be egg bound either. I didn't feel anything hard in her belly. She seems really light like she's loosing weight. Not eating much. I did throw some corn on the cob out last night and she pecked a little at it but wouldn't even eat bread

You will probably find more prompt help by posting a new thread in the Emergancies section than here but could it be fly strike? Warning for graphic photos: http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2014/07/flystrike-in-backyard-chickens-causes.html
@ncymst I agree with autumnhearth about it being flystrike since you mentioned that "flies came out of her bottom." I 2nd also that the emergency section sounds like a better bet for quicker help for you too.

@trsturself
So I've heard a lot of people use azure for chicken feed. I love this idea, however the whole thing is really overwhelming for me. I guess I don't know where to start.
What do you get and how do you mix it? I'm terrified I will not feed them the right stuff.
I have gotten an Azure Standard catalog (they will send them free upon request). The idea is appealing, but it is my understanding that you must have a certain number of orders (or amount) in order for them to even deliver to you. I think they prefer to do drop shipments where they may have 5 or 6 (or more) orders that are dropped at one place and then everyone comes to pick up. Has anyone else used this company? I am in the Savannah area, and when I looked it up, the closest drop was in the Atlanta area.

I ordered the catalogue. I ran into the same issues (also near Savannah) but still wonder about what to feed. There maybe other options available, but I don't even know what I need. Or how much. We could potentially start another drop if there was a big enough order.
