Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

While we're waiting on chicky pictures, how about another silly adventure from a certain Meyer blue splash Marans?

Videos of Frou-Frou coming out of the chicken yard for a visit into the house, and then returning to the chicken yard afterward: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/753707/frou-frous-nightly-visit-videos
Frou-Frou is a pretty bird.

LOVE the eco glow so far. Already had 1 EE jump on top! But when they go under there they get pretty quiet and then all of a sudden about 4 will come running out at full speed to eat and drink. Very cute.
I'll be sure to take more close pics tomorrow.

Have you seen this thread, you may already have, but it
looked interesting. I know they say to put shelf liner on top for friction and easy cleaning.

After using the heat lamps for my last bunch of chicks I know I'll probably get nervous when they don't make any noise when they are under it. You have a pretty advanced EE, it already jumped on top? Wow!

hehe... yes, my chicks are the smartest, strongest and cutest chicks ever born!! There's been a few on top already. I was surprised.
I bought some paper to put on top and I'll do that tomorrow. I never thought I'd need it the first day!
They are just so stinkin' cute I can't stop watching them. A few were eating the gro-gel out of my hand. Love the EE's. They seem to have so
much character. And the white cochin too. The only one I can't identify yet is the partridge rock. It looks like the EE's.

I'll tell ya, my PO workers are absolutely amazing. The PO worker, Dan, went to the other office, picked the chicks up, had them scanned and then drove them right to my house. Then I asked if he wanted to see them so he took phone video while I opened the box and took each one out to show them the water and put them under the heater. Just way above and beyond the call of duty!!!
AND he does plumbing work on the side too - CHEAP!!!!

Bright chicks!!! Sorry for the link, I just went thru the whole thread for that link and I saw that you posted there already. My EcoGlow just arrived in the mail and I am reading all up about it.

That is a very nice postal employee.

I just now got caught up in the drama and even told farmguy that you didn't get your chicks, he's like no we already looked at them earlier, and I realized I had two more pages left to read! I don't really get on the internet all the time. I'm so so so happy for you NN I would be devastated if something were to happen to the chickies we got coming in. I think it will be alright though. I might have to be the one to pick them up from local post office. Crazy thing - my mother is a retired postal worker of some 39 years, and she said that we would have to pick them up downtown. We called our post office just down the way and they said we could get them there! How convenient! And much safer for the chicks. I'm so freaking excited!!!
