We just got back from our local swap. We sold our last 2 polish (we still have 2 we are keeping). One went to a really nice lady that won't have her coop done until next month. So we're going to keep the little girl until she is ready. She also bought an EE there that we put with our polish so they can get to know each other.
We are down to 5 meyers girls left. 2 polish (SL, and splash), 1 blue orpington, and 1 GLW. Our friend is buying the blue orpington and we'll keep the GLW, so we are all done selling.
We were really tempted to get two ducks but my husband is so worried about getting caught since we aren't allowed to have them here. He's the one that wants them though so it was tempting. It made it easier to resist since they were only 2 weeks old and still needed to be in a brooder. We don't have a brooder that big!
Our BA laid an egg today! It's not as torpedo shaped as the BR but it's a tad heavier. Still really tiny. It will be interesting to watch them get bigger. I wonder if they'll get darker too since they are both really light right now.
Still waiting on the EE, hopefully tomorrow.
