Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

Our EE is the only one that has given us a huge egg. It was 2.9oz and is nearly double the size of our other ones. We haven't cracked it yet. I wonder how long it will take her to go back to laying after all this trauma.

beautiful girls MsChickenMomma!

Beautiful here is blaze our Australia cattle dog checking the babies after first night in coop
Cute dog, I am jealous of your barn too!
Here are some pictures of my girls at 13 weeks.

That egg is huge!

Can it fit in an egg carton?
Beautiful birds, I wish I could have gotten my white leghorn now, they are so pretty and such good layers.

Wow, 2.9? Even bigger!

I think all 5 of my older chickens are laying now.

One BR laid on the floor of the coop, a very light brown egg, almost white, I believe Pepper laid this one.

The other BR, I think the hurt one, Oreo laid on the ground under a dog house, but only a yolk, it was a dark yellow yolk even though. I just buried it. Not much good to us like that.

So I had 3 good eggs today and 2 messed up ones, so I guess all 5 are laying!

So Oreo is officially recovered, she just needs to figure out how to put a shell on those eggs and they both need to lay in the nest box.

It's weird though, Oreo is squatting a lot and her comb and wattles have grown a little more, but they still are not red, maybe that's why there is no egg shell?

I hope Sunni and Amber recover soon too.

How exciting that they are all laying. I'm sure they'll get the details figured out soon enough. How long has it been since the dog attack?

Yup, they will figure it out eventually.

I had one lay an egg in the run today and yesterday. Didn't see who it was though. Must be a new layer!
I got 6 eggs today!! And didn't get one from Izzy so I must have 7 laying. Unfortunately all were brown and I'm pretty sure Cleo my clean faced EE was one of them so that must mean she lays a brown egg. I kinda thought that was going to be the case. Don't worry... I still really like her

But I'm still holding out hope that my other 2 EE's will lay green or blue. They seem to look like more typical EE's so my fingers are crossed. Mrs. Puff my whitish EE was sitting in a nest box today but no egg and so was Junior the CM. I think Pipsqueak may have laid a little cream colored egg today but not quite sure. I'm such a proud chicken mama.
I thought for sure my BA's would be one of the first to lay from what I've read but I guess not. They still don't have big combs/wattles but they are squatting.
Trust me... I'm not complaining. I just thought they laid earlier.

Wow 6 eggs! Our D'Uccle was squacking up a storm today but I think she's still a week or two from laying. Her face/comb was very red this morning but mellowed out by this afternoon. Our cochin is finally getting red and some wattles on her. She's 18 or 19 weeks already but since they are slower growers I figure she'll lay later. I can't wait to get more than 2 eggs/day!

These are my Meyer girls at 4 weeks old
I love polish! Look at that crest!

Here are the pics I took today.

The top egg is our BR egg and the bottom one is the BA.

Amber trying to preen herself!

This is Amber and our BA, Sky. Amber used to look almost the same size as Sky. She looks so small now! You can really see her missing back and tail feathers in this pic. She looks like a vulture.

This is the best pic I've gotten of our Partridge Rock (Mona). She is always really skitish and won't come near me.

This is the only pic I've ever been able to get to show her coloring.

These are our two most skittish chickens and I was able to get them in one pic! Crazy! (our blue cochin, Sterling and Mona)

All our chickens got baths today. My daughter is showing some of them in the county fair this week. This is our middle trio after their baths.

And here is our Meyer Polish after theirs
