Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

I hope that you are able to keep your flock. If you do have to re-home them I might be interested in taking a few depending on how far you are from me. By the way, congrats on picture of the week.

My Meyer girls are starting to get red faces! They should start laying next month!

Thanks. :) I sent you a PM with more information.

Good morning! :D My Meyer babies are 6 months old today (by the day--they were born May 12)! I didn't get a picture of my smooth-feathered black Cochin bantam from their frizzle Cochin bantams, but here are my little Meyer ladies:

Huka the Silver Lakenvelder, clearly not happy about this morning's snow:

Ihi the Golden Campine, who was probably glaring because I was following her around.

Marama the Egyptian Fayoumi:

Rangi the Ancona, first on the ground and then on my shoulder. :D

Roha the Exchequer Leghorn, who I had to boot out from her hiding place:

And Whiri the Light Brown Leghorn, who went out in the snow and then decided to go back to the coop:

Oh, and a couple of my older Meyer girls. My year-old blue splash Marans from Meyer, Frou-Frou, flying out of the pop door. She is in mid-molt, so she's kind of tufty right now:

And this one I thought was adorable. First snow last winter, 2012, here is my Meyer Partridge Plymouth Rock, Fancy (on the left):

Now this morning, here she is:

She's hiding in the same place and for the same reason.

Pip, I love your chickens and their pics!

Ive got at least 2 girls laying, maybe 3. I feel like im getting 3 different looking eggs. No eggs yesterday, but two on Sunday. We had been watching all day Sunday. Goldie the BO was making a ruckus in and out of the nestbox, finally laid at 1:00pm. stopped watching, but was listening with the kitchen door open. my son checked about an hour after Goldie layed hers and there was another one! Sneaky chicken! All eggs have been in the nestbox, those golfballs do their jobs!

Do they send catalogs to anyone who orders chicks from them, or do you have to specifically ask for one?
Copied from their facebook post.

They're here, they're here! The Meyer Hatchery 2014 Master Poultry Catalog has arrived.

Want one? If you have ordered from us in the last 2 years OR requested one within the past year, you're already on the list. If none of that applies to you, request one here: http://goo.gl/HYVgCo

I knew I have 3 hens laying! Got home from work and errands and had 3 eggs in the nestbox! Oh, this is sooo much fun!!! Funny thing is now I feel like I have 4 different looking eggs!
