1. Carmen - Easter Egger

2. Mae Mae - Barred Rock

3. Babette - Buff Orpington

5. Lola - RIR

6. Fiona - Barred Rock

7. Bella - Black Copper Marans

I am really hoping my EE from meyer feathers out like you beautiful ee 4. Coco Chanel - Easter Egger - she was plain brown as a chick and is gorgeous now. Mine has very similar feathering right now but shes only 5 weeks so who knows.

I see no one else took the bait... What about Elsa or Anna? From Frozen, of course. :)

I did suggest Elsa to him, twice, and he said "nah". I think Elsa and Anna would be perfect names for a white and a golden Easter Egger, though I've seen them used for many different breeds. Amazing how many Disney princess chickens there are on here in flocks with kids. I'm on several name threads and it always makes me smile when I see that. Really I should ask over there, but this thread has my favorite people on it :) I also suggested Leia, Astrid, Aspen, Lily, Daisy, Sugar, Snow, Winter, Olwen, Bronwen, Isolde, Fionna, Gwyneth and various other Welsh names with white/fair meanings. He seems to like the idea of something that rhymes with Amelia and Cornelia and a gave him a whole list of those including Ophelia which he though was alright but continued to make up his own like Popelia, lol. He has suggested Rocky and Peeps. I countered with Roxie and told him she's not going to peep forever but its a good nickname, husband refers to them collectively as peeps. Just gotta give it time, she's already getting white feathers on her wings :)

What a great list of names!!

Ok, so I bought the stuff I need to make a chicken saddle. My poor Eggplant looks like she's been plucked for the pot. There's been a small amount of pecking, so I wanted a saddle before it became an issue. I never heard back from the person I PMed (because I never actually sent the message, only though I did ). Anyway, so I found a pattern and hopefully can get that knocked out today. I really wish it would stop raining too. I'm so far behind in getting my vegetable garden going.

Oh oh oh! And my lavendar orp integration is going well. She's so sweet and almost the size of my rooster. She's definitely the biggest girl. Even much bigger than the brahmas.

That's great! Good luck with her, I love the white EEs but I rarely see them.

Thought I would share, our all white EE from Meyer. Isis
