Meyer hatchery lavender orpingtons?

Considering getting some lavender orpington chicks in the spring. Has anyone gotten them from meyer hatchery? Would I be smart to find someone locally who breeds them instead?

If you only want the hens for eggs and pets
The get them from the hatchery.
They will be much cheaper but not as good quality.
If you want to show them then I would buy them from a good quality breeder.
They would be more expensive but worth it if you want to show them.

Does the breeder who lives near you have show quality?
The reason I am asking is if you want to show them,
You need to get good strains.
I am just wondering is case because not all breeders have show quality
Stock.

Hi! No, just looking for pets and eggs. However, the cost is about the same, so I might go with the breeder- she is in my state.

Ok.
If the breeder is the same price as the hatchery
They probably arnt show quality.
But you only want them for eggs and pets
So they don't need to be for showing.
Post pictures when you get them.
