That's amazing that you do that! I would really love to help out the food pantry. I actually have some ideas up my sleeve on how to help more people cost effectively for me. I'm hoping to put them into action this spring with the help of my children@Kristen D I ordered the Mealmaker from Meyer's as well, and got a production red layer. I was very excited about this option as I am the director of our local food pantry. We are in a rural area and serve 400-500 families a month. It can sometimes get expensive for me to buy enough eggs for the pantry, I only have 2 families that donate eggs. I highly recommend getting in contact with your local pantry and see if you can help. Most also take donations of produce!
Also, keep in mind when donating anything to charity organizations, that you should only give things you would use or eat yourself, not garbage. It just isn't kind, and can be expensive for organizations to dispose of your trash!
