Meyers was right, Post Office was wrong.

Meyers said that the chicks still might show up today. PO said they only get those shipments in the A.M. 2pm I got the call. chicks had arrived. Walked in to PO and could hear them already.

10 total. 3 Buff Orp, 3 Brown Leghorns, 2 Barred Rock, 1 Jersey Giant...meyers threw in an extra BR.

9 of 10 are doing great. 1 of the BR is not looking so good. Butt looks fine, has taken a few drinks and eaten some crumble but not much.

She looks very shaky on her feet. Doesnt move much, only when bumped into or something.

Is this normal behavior? I understand they are only a day old so hopefully things will improve.

I'd get some sugar water in her or some colored gatoraide to bring her up real quick.

(P.O does't always know. Some places try to get them through quicker because...well...they can get annoying hundreds at a time, depending on how many you have to deliver that day! ;-)

Shipping can be rough on the little fellas. Give them some time and hopefully it improves!
