The baby that died has an extended lower mandible, which seems weird. I'm starting to wonder if maybe there was a spike in early incubation that I never saw? It would have been a really short spike, I've checked this incubator constantly.

Anyway, here are the external pips. One of the pips is pretty bloody, she must have nicked a vein.

All of the rest are internally pipped. I'm down to 4.

Is this another late quitter with a cross beak? It's a skull malformation and is due to genetics usually so I'm leaning more and more towards an issue with the flock. I have my fingers crossed for the babies that hatch!
