MIA Alert Canceled! Dipsy Doodle Doo! Lisa? SHE'S BAAAACK!

Hi! Thanks for thinking of me, Sally. I had a broke computer for a couple months, but it's straightened out now (fingers crossed).
If you emailed and I didn't answer, email again.
Nice thing about being without a computer is I had time to take up new hobbies --- making pineneedle baskets:

and goatmilk soap:

Still setting eggs and have chicks (and quail) hatching every week or 10 days, but almost all my girls quit laying Nov/Dec (makes every chick that hatches all-the-more special).

*snort* *chuckle* I'm surprised you had any Ameraucana eggs to share! My 20-something Am' girls in the breeding pens quit laying completely and are just today back up to 4 eggs a day.

I appreciate the phone calls and I'll put my ph# on my page in case this happens again.

I was missing you too! Glad your're doing well, those baskets and soap are to die for! Luv 'em.

Lisa,

Glad you are back. I have been offline a while myself. During hunting season I spend my extra time in the woods. I have some beautiful Ameraucana's pullets from the last set of eggs I hatched from you and I look forward to incubating some when the ladies decide to lay again.

Take care!

Reuben

Stop that disapearing crap! I just came back from a BIG poultry show one one of the blacks I hatched from your eggs took second for black pullets in ameraucana! The two girls I hatched are gorgeous. Oh, same pullet was second in Boston too!

Hi Ann! Congratulations on your wins --- you must have done a fabulous job raising them up!
I've never been to a chicken show, but it's on my list of things to do 'one of these days'

I emailed a BYCer who lives not far from her, knows where she lives. He's a member here, though comes and goes alot. Maybe he'll know what's up with Lisa.

And I forgot to say --- Thanks Cynthia and Terrie. David called and left a message, but didn't leave a ph# for me to call him back.
We have several byc members that are here in the Aiken area. Theresa (PoloChic) was just here last week and Tom stopped by her place today to pick up some Delaware eggs from her birds (Thank you and yaay, setting them tonight). Darlene, Lynn, and Bernice are other members here in Aiken county (and more I don't remember) --- they aren't frequent posters.
And thanks Reuben, you are unforgettable. I'm going to borrow your name to use as a character in a book when I start writing again.
By the way, my WoodDuck pair are in 'courting mode'. I didn't expect to see eggs for another month at least, but maybe earlier here than their wild counterparts?
