I really think it's a disgrace anyone hired him. If i was a eagles fan I would be highly disappointed in my team. Glad I'm on the side of pittsburgh, don't think the owner dan rooney would have went for that deal no matter how good the guy was.

Actially he trained them to attack and had a "ring" downstairs.

OFF TOPIC: When we went to NC to rescue dogs from a kill shelter we saw on eof his dogs. We asked if we could have him but they said no. Reason why is cause he was going to a rescue shelter. At least that dog had a happy ending.

Business is about making money. They signed him because they think they can make money on him.

Their hiring him is not illegal. Vick paid his dues. What you or I or anyone else thinks has nothing to do with it unless you think you can change the law or change people.

Actually I agree w you! Any one who can do what he did w these dogs is a jeffery domer in the making. This is what is wrong w this society. We take people like this and continue to put them on pedistals. This begins to make people/kids numb to all these neg. situtations.. I can't forget OJ, he finally got what he deserved.

By the way rootball how did you get your name? Where you a Katrina survivor? After Katrina we had rootballs every where. The only way to move them was w heavy equipment. We lost millions of trees. This man basically tortured dogs.

not a sports fan but wow i think they made a mistake... i dont think anyone should have hired him. i know its not true - but i'd like to think that sports teams remember that there are families out there that watch and they should expect some level of decency from their players. sure he served his time to the law...but the point is his character and lack of judgment should have sunk his fame.

I was surprised the Bengals didn't give him a look. He would fit right in with all the other criminals on the team. lol. I'm aloud to say this because I've been a Bengals fan my whole life.

IMHO, he's done his time and has shown some remorse. I don't know if it was genuine, but at least his words seemed to be what everyone wanted to hear. He's an incredible athlete, and I like to watch him play.

I agree with this post. Yes, what he did was bad and he deserved what he got.

BUT - we should forgive when a man has done his time and feels remorse and wants to make a positive change.

And you know this how?

It is pretty sad that we can not give a person a second chance.

I hate what he did and I do not in anyway condone it, but I am not his final judge.
