Michigan Breeders

I’m looking for breeders in Michigan. I’d like to try purchasing from breeders as opposed to hatcheries if possible. I’m in Central Michigan area but willing to travel.

What breed are you looking for? I raise and breed silkies, and depending on where you are in MI, I might not be too far. Otherwise, I found breeders here https://www.poultryshowcentral.com/

and good old Google, plus in the Facebook poultry groups for my state.

When checking on groups on fb, many list the group as County name livestock, some are for a couple of counties that are neighbors. Just check to make sure the person has been on the site for a long time...well at least 6 months I would want. Read posts and comments. Hoping for the best in finding the birds you want.
