I'll be there! I planned on it last year, but the siblings decided the week of June 25 was going to be our family vacation in TN, so did that instead. Can't wait to meet everyone and hopefully pick up a few new chicks!

I cant wait! My kids had so much fun last year- and I loved meeting everyone and enjoying such wonderful conversation and putting faces to the names! And Granny is the BEST!

I have already told Opa that he has to keep my husband busy while I do chicken math- and load up the van...so, if any of you plan on bringing significant others, I will have mine staked out at the horse-shoe pit.

Opa's smoked chicken. The once-a-year meal that you will NOT forget. Also the reason I am bringing my hubby- simply cannot describe the chicken accurately- it must be tasted.

Wish I had caught this thread earlier this spring, was looking everywhere for vorwerks but got sidetracked by bantam cochins when I couldn't find any eggs for the incubator - now have too many chickens (again).

I really like the look of my vorwerks and hopefully I will be able to bring some fertile eggs and chicks to Chickenstock. Vorwerks have to be one of the more striking bantams breeds. I really enjoy watching how a chick with a dark body and gold head transitions into a bird with a gold body and black head and tail.

How many is too many birds?
