Michigan Chickenstock 2013 Buy/Sell/Trade

I could not make it today but still interested in trading cornish hen pair for layers and bantam rooster for hen. : )

It was a great event as usual.
Thanks to OPA for helping set up my tent thing. What a mess, couldn't have done it without you.
Thanks to Farmerboy for the beautiful little Icelandics. They are in a chicken tractor getting used to where they will live now, but I had a predator HUSKY kill a chicken here today so am having issues with a neighbor now and had to move the little tractor INside the fenced area till things are settled with the owner of the Husky.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and bought little Dominique mixes and one person who bought a Bantam Easter Egger. I hope they all do well for you.
Thanks to everyone who bought an Iris rhizome. And for the plants that were traded to me for Irises. I planted the Cannas as soon as I got home, after caring for the poultry. The campion perked up with a good drink but I haven't figured out where to put it yet.
Thank you everyone. It was way more hot than I could tolerate, but I survived and it was nice to meet so many of you.
I haven't been able to get photos up upload yet, don't know if it's my computer or BYC. Maybe later.

How's this for a bribe: I will give some Red Cannas to whomever takes this FREE Lavender Orpington cockerel off my hands. lol. :D

oh, so it was YOU that I got the Cannas from. I planted them about 4" deep, which is what it looked like they were at. Don't know if they will perk up and take off this year or not. But they are in. Thank you. He sure is a pretty little guy.

Nope, got enough roos. heeheehee. don't need anymore, but he's pretty. don't know if I want ANYmore chickens ever, now that I got a predator problem with a neighbors Husky. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night.
I know that (and I hope this NEVER happens to me) I would have many sleepless nights if any of my girls are attacked or missing. I am so sorry to hear about that dog!
We have many birds of prey here plus huge Raccoons and coyotes. So far, the word of chicken dinners hasn't gotten out probably due to the massive wild turkey flocks running about my country home. Plus, my neighbors have dogs that are not allowed to "roam" thank goodness. Our little Teddy Bear (the pom we brought in the morning to CS2013 ) is more afraid of my girls than they ever will be of him....

still, I agree and would do just what you did and report the violator.

Hi! Yes, my DH just messaged you about him too.

It's ok you do not have Canna's to bribe. We are new to owning a flock and have eight girls only right now...4 red productions and 4 EE's (all mutts :) ). He is a cutie. If you were at Chickenstock I am sorry I missed him! we are interested and going to talk about it tonight to possibly give him a good home .
