Michigan Chickenstock 2013 Buy/Sell/Trade

Nope, got enough roos. heeheehee. don't need anymore, but he's pretty. don't know if I want ANYmore chickens ever, now that I got a predator problem with a neighbors Husky. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night.
I have an idea for the husky, make booby traps for the dog set rat traps so when he sticks his nose in bam he may think twice or an electric fence if you can borrow one or a bb gun. I wouldn't want to shot to kill because that will open another whole set of problems.

I wouldn't want to shoot to wound either. I hate seeing animals hurt. But he's only a family pet when he's staying at home and that's his owners responsibility. Down here he is strictly a predator.
I got up early and got to my township advisors office and gave them my written report and a copy of the Michigan Dog Owners Laws and told them about what happened, because the way I read it that was part of my responsibility to get that all in writing to them. So I have done everything in my power to stay on the right side of the law and do what's expected of me. Reports filed now with the State Police, forwarded on to Animal Control of Bay Co and reports given to Township board members. All 3 of these offices know that I am aware of my right to shoot the dog if the owner doesn't keep it under their control. I admit I am still speaking with a lot of anger in my heart, not toward the dog but the way the owner of said dog spoke to me in my own yard.

Hi Kimmie,

We live east of Lansing, near Perry/Williamston. Do you have pictures? We are just in the "considering" stage :) because we are new and have eight spoiled girls who are pretty independent right now, but it never hurts to think about having a protector around when they are free ranging...

I have 8 Welsummer pullets and 5 EE pullets available ~ all just over 2 months old. They are being housed in Davison (just east of Flint) currently. I could meet you part way on a weekend if you are interested in all or even just a few of them. Very nice looking pullets. The EE's all have nice patterning. There is also a Welsummer Roo available - and you can already tell he's going to be a handsome dude!
