Michigan Chickenstock 2014 Buy/Sell/Trade

Hi again, I was just in ER today! Used to live there, still visit friends. I'm in Perry, NE of Lansing, so very close. MarI live about a mile from the high school on the same road. I have only been here about 8 yrs but my bf has been in this town and same house his whole life. I lived most of my life in Okemos but much prefer it here!!

Ok, no BBWs. I have purebred Narrangansett and then 3 mixed breed poults that I hatched out from shipped eggs. I hope you find the BBWs!! I've always wanted to try those, maybe some day we will.

Anyone have Phoenix bantams or standard pairs and im also looking for an australorp hen. Im looking to rehome my flock of lavender americauna bantams 3 roos 4 hens last years hach laying like crazy. Pm me if interested

I am planning on attending. I am just starting out. Just built my coop (4'x6') and plan on having 4 hens of various breeds. I am starting to get my waterer/feeder together and hope to be ready next weekend for some tenants. I am looking for Juvenile Pullets that are coop ready. I don't think I am ready to deal with very young chicks.

If I show up to CS looking for 4 Laying hens of various breeds, will I have a good chance of bringing a few home? Without naming specific breeds, or asking someone specific to bring me some birds, if I make the 100 mile trip (one way) can I expect to fill my coop? Let me know. I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Jeff

More than likely you shouldn't have a problem. I would suggest getting there at or near 10am when the fun begins though! Sounds like a ton of people will be bringing birds so I think you will be in luck!
