Michigan Chickenstock 2019 (MICS19) Pot Luck & Swap Thread

Brett and I should be able to make it. @RaZ, did we miss you last year? We will bring the hot dogs precooked so we don't have to mess with the grill ;). I also know how to do the food chart/table, however I had to update it when people posted as a JPeg and cut/paste new info on the original post.

Now that it's March, hope we can get lots more interested :)

I was thinking I would go, but it sounds like I'll be in MO at that time :(

Hello all!! I’m in Ohio but I don’t believe they have a chickenstock or don’t anymore...sooo I’d like to join yours if that’s okay Lansing ain’t that far...few hours at most...think I’ll wait and see what others are bringing before I’ll say what I’ll bring as far as food...and as far as anything to sell or swap I’m not sure what I’ll have but possibly some Heritage Barred Rocks and/or Brahmas ...and whatever else I might come up with...things I may be looking for same chickens or hatching eggs of same breeds i have listed ...Chicken art I have coops to decorate!! Signs, pictures, cute curtains just whatever lol...

Welcome AngieMaeChix! Of course we would love to have you attend! More the merrier as far as we are concerned. It's a great time shared by all, everyone is very friendly for sure. Hopefully soon there will be a chart listed on this thread home page of confirmed attendees and items to share. Since you are travelling, its welcome for you to sign up for non perishable type contributions to the food table. We breed Silveruuds Icebar, Iowa Blue, White Chantecler, EE and barnyard mix chickens. We breed Ancona ducks.

Ooohhh anaconda ducks!! I am wanting more ducks soon can’t decide between anacondas , silver appleyards or saxonys...And yeah the drive make bringing a warm dish a little difficult...perhaps I could bring a pasta salad?

@AngieMaesChix I love the Ancona's! They are adorable as ducklings for sure! We have a female Cayuga in the mix though..hub likes those and got three, kept one. Had to post pic of one of our hatches :) We have black/white some times chocolate or silver/lavender colors hatch.

There is always room to bring drinks, bags of chips, cookies too ;) but pasta salad is wonderful too!
