Michigan Chickenstock/Fowl Fest Oct 10 & 11

Kassey,

Jamie and I will be there. Look for us if ya wanna. We'll be the 2 crazy women running around looking for beauties to buy lol

Hopefully will find a couple nice LF Cochins or Light Sussex

Oopsy, I would suggest that if you want to buy any birds that you get there early. Last year a large percentage of the sale birds were gone by 10.
I will be there early with Bluemoon, Granny and Hope and since I look like my current avatar I should be easy to spot. Hope to see you there.

The show doesn't stop at a certain time for lunch. Showmanship for the kids is usually done by lunchtime or shortly there after.
As for the breed show, no one is allowed in the row that the judge is judging. So you are not committed to being with your show birds the whole day.

I did find that with the sale coops, we left our cell phone # cause we didn't sit there the whole time. Anyways it was so noisey that I didn't hear it til I stepped outside.

I am planning on eating between 12-12:30 at the lion haus, adjouning the pavillion.

And do get there early to purchase birds. The good ones go quick. If you aren't looking for show quality, by the end of the show they go rather cheap, since folks don't want to take them home.

Sarah

I will be there with a double stroller and 5 kids. 3 will be showing in showmanship.

Yes it does open at 7am for exhibitors to get their birds there. The show itself doesn't start until 9am.

We are getting up early Saturday morning and heading to the show. Hope to be there by 7-7:30am.

Well anyone that goes to Birch Run knows of Tony's restaurant. You know, heart attack on a plate Tony's? Order 2 eggs over ez and get a POUND of bacon with it. And the 2 inch thick home made toast. with a whole jar of jam. LOL So we'll have to stop there before going on to the show grounds.

So just look for the 2 bloated mom an daughter, crazy chicken fever, tag them. LOL
