I just thought of something else too. If you go and bid on a silent auction item or the raffle, then you must be present to pick it up on Sunday morning.

It's over 3 hours away, and I have to babysit for some dogs, plus my own. Maybe next year.... I was really hoping to see more Chanteclers!

I just looked at the long range weather and the forecast for Saturday calls for partly reasonable. The day will certainly be for enjoyable if we have sunshine. Hope, Granny, Chelsea (Bluemoon), and I will be there very close to when the door opens. While I have no intention of purchasing any birds, last year the ones for sale were gone quickly. I will be taking a couple of cage with us just in case Chelsea can't fight the urge to add to her flock.

I have eggs I'm attempting to hatch!

I candled last night. The blue and green eggs I couldn't see a thing other than dark mass.

4 of the blue orps, 2 look like they might have blood rings. I marked those with ?'s, and will check em again in couple days. The brown eggs went well. I could see veins in most of them. 2 brown eggs I could see an eye, and one was moving.

so all in all, not too bad for a newb.

Is there any plan to meet up at FF or just on a casual basis? Wish there was some way to do name tags (with screen names) so we could continue to get better acquainted.

I still plan on attending this weekend! Can't wait to see everyone.

We will be processing some chickens and a couple of small Turkeys this week. If anyone is interested please PM me and we can process a few extra. We also have 6 week old Del Pullets, BBW Turkeys that just need a few more weeks if you would like Jumbo size for Thansgiving.
