Michigan Chickenstock!!! Lansing area, August 1!!!

Never played "picnic games". Such as...? Know there is a softball field there. Maybe volleyball?? Kids would love that. DH just got a Monster Badmitton set.... Are these picnic games?

I was thinking more like....sack races...3-legged races...stuff like that? You know, the stuff that makes for really good pictures!

Egg race? You know, egg in a spoon, and you have to carry it and pass it off to another person or something...

Oh, does anyone pickle eggs and have a large jar of eggs that they know how many are in each? We could have a guess-how-many-eggs-are-in-the-jar contest...or, a big basket filled with eggs and a guess on that?

I wonder about the egg relay, though...that seems like a good "chickenstock" kinda contest...but I got to thinking that maybe the park wouldn't appreciate broken eggs on the ground (?)

Would anyone like homemade Mars bars? I am the only one here that likes coconut so I don't make them very often. This would be a good excuse to make some.

HOMEMADE Mars bars? Holy cow! Sounds like lots of work...they'd all get snatched up and in a HURRY I'd bet if you made some for Chickenstock, Hillbillyhen!

An egg toss would be fun, but again, not sure what the park would say about smashed eggs all over the place - HA!
