Congrats on the egg win, Vicki!

To those who can't make it to this Chickenstock, if it's successful, we'll hold more in the future. I was sort of even hoping to have one this fall, but that may be a bit soon...we'll have to maybe take a poll afterwards to see if there's interest.

Anyone near Bay City that could pick up a sign from Produck??

We'd be able to use the sign for future get-togethers as well, so it would be great if someone lived close enough to pick it up!

Eggs, fair winners, etc.... Michigan is doing good!

I would be super interested in another chickenstock, but it being all the way out in Lansing makes it tough. I'm only able to go this time because I'll be in Marshall anyway for a dog show.

Which reminds me... I may have to bring my puppy with me if I can't find anyone trustworthy to stay at the dog show to watch her. I hate leaving her behind, and haven't worked up the guts to do it yet. I was wondering if it'd be OK and if there's enough room in the park or if the park even allows dogs. I will definitely keep her away from the poultry or even leave her in the van most of the time if I have to. Or should I maybe try really hard to find someone to watch her so I can just leave her at the dog show? Opinions?

I don't have any issue with your bringing your dog, but let's let others weigh in as well. There will be at least one other person with a pup that they cannot leave alone all day. I think so long as it's on a leash and closely supervised, it should be just fine.

THERE you go! I personally am a HUGE dog fan - love them all...but, we have to remember there will be young children all the way up to Opa's granny there...I think a crate is an excellent option!
