I'll bring a big blanket, crayons and paper for kids to sit and color while the parents play

I usually haul that kinda stuff around to amuse my 5yr old....I'll just bring lots of extra crayons and paper!

We are back!!
Been at the Eaton County Fair( Charlotte, Mi) all week.

My son showed his Turkeys on Monday took 1st Old Tom, 2nd Old Hen, 1st Young Tom, 1st Young Hen, Grand Champion with his Old Tom( which is the daddy to the poults he will be selling). The young Tom and Hen are out of his Tom and Hens too.

He also showed Rabbits, Goats, Llamas so be sure to ask him when you see him how he did. He's 11 so still excited about fair.

For those of you who have asked about the turkey poults. We have been having them hatch within the last 3 weeks still some in the bator. Not sure how many we will have but will let you know price and how many in next post.

Rose, Produck was the one that offered to make a sign, but he's no longer able to come - I BELIEVE he offered to make them if someone would come pick them up, but I don't recall where he lives - Rose, can you look into that - see if he's still available to make the sign, and post where he lives so we can (hopefully) find someone close enough to go pick it up?

Hello everyone!! We are also back from fair!! It was a great week and for the first time ever, it wasn't the hottest week of the year!!

The kids did great and we had tons of fun!! All the kids in my club brought home trophies, so that was exciting!! Oh, and our wellies eggs won Grand Champion eggs!!

The judge said each egg was a work of art!!

This week we leave for NY to pick up our Maremma puppy. He is 5 months old and is our new LGD. We can't wait!!

I'm sad I wont be able to make it to chickenstock this year. I'm going to be heading up north that weekend. Everyone should make sure to have lots of fun though. It sure sounds like you guys will.
