My DH and I absolutely LOVED that dessert!!!!! He was asking me to find out who made it and ask for the recipe. Now I don't have to, thank you! Of course, now he'll want me to actually try to make it

I am sorry I am late getting here-I am computer impaired (which means I have to come to the library and they are closed on sundays).

I just wanted to express my deepest thank you for the wonderful time I had at chickenstock. Everything was just perfect! The food was just delicious! I met and talked to a lot of great people.

I want to thank Wynette for a great job in organzing our first chickenstock.

I want to thank Granny for the handmade chickens, I treasure it more because you made it!

Thank you Chickenlady for the bumper sticker-mine is already on my car!

Thank you everybody who made a dish to pass-the deserts were to die for-please post your recipees for us! Opa's smoked chicken was the best I ever tasted!

I want to thank the person who brought the chicken ornament for a gift. I don't know who you are but I love it! Thank you very much!

I want to thank my best friend Freebie also known as Denise. Thank you Denise for taking me and for sharing your birds with me! Maybe we can work on those turkey poults next year!

I thought our first chickenstock was a huge success and maybe Freebie will bring her karaoke machine the next time!

I just wanted to say everyone I talked to was super friendly and the Michigan BYCers are the BEST!

Wow...took me a while to catch up! This is the first time I've had a chance to logon since chickenstock!

Wow... I'm trying to settle back into "reality" after the long weekend I had! Chickenstock was wonderful... what I had time to sample, anyway. Met and talked with several wonderful people, and came home with one chicken more than I had planned to buy.

By-the-way, who brought the girls who were selling the broody cochins? I'm the one who bought the splash girl... she's a sweety, and I do believe the rehoming broke her out of her broodiness. The white roo is in a separate cage, but is doing love-dances for her already, with which she doesn't seem impressed.

I do want to come to another chickenstock, but Frankenmuth is even farther away from me than Lansing!!! Ah, well... can't win 'em all!

Morning, friends! I'm SOOO glad you all had fun, and things worked out. My DH and I sat and made a list of things that we could have done differently to make it even better. I'll start a new thread later on that and ask for your feedback.

THANK YOU so much, Michelle, for the gorgeous RID girls! They are settled into my quarantine pen and doing just fine. They are so quiet and laid back...nice to work with the quiet ones!

Hotwings, I was the one that gifted the glass chicken ornament - it's it the cutest? I almost bought an extra one for myself, but just couldn't.

And THANK YOU to whoever gifted the chicken placemats and potholders - I'd love to know where they came from, because I'd like to get another set of them! Please let me know who gifted them and where I can get more!

THANKS to The Chicken Lady - how cool that we had a Moderator at CHickenstock! Wonder what happend to Grubb Waterfowl? The CHicken Lady and I were so looking forward to a duck talk with her! Maybe next time. Oh - and thanks for the neat bumper sticker! Mine's not on yet....my car is dirty & I need to get a spot cleaned off first!

I think a FowlFest meet-up would be great, and I think quarterly is a good idea, as well. But I think we should rotate where we have it...19Sarah90 makes a good point that this will be even further for some folks to go.

Will someone volunteer to take the reins for a FowlFest meetup? I would think the sooner the better for reserving some place to meet, as I'm SURE that lots of folks are thinking the same thing. Frankenmuth has several parks, so hopefully we can find something very close?

Oh - important - for any of you that did not sign in & put how many poultry you brought, PLEASE PM me with that info. so we can get as accurate a count as possible. We need to know how many people in your party, and how many individual poultry you brought. To all those that helped out when I asked, thank you so much. I could not have organized it without your help!
