Well I would like to not want anymore chickens, but I don't know if there is something I don't have I may want it. I have two partridge rock roo's that I need to be rid of and I think I may have a Icelandic roo that needs a home.

Oh, I know all too well what you mean! Lol! Just when I start thinkin "gee, I have the perfect flock (for me)", I start looking around at some other breeds and then I start getting that chicken math itch. Unfortunately I have it REALLY bad right now!

Chicken:
Adding is easy (buy, breed, trade...)
Subtracting is hard (cull, sell, predators...)
Multiplying can be easy ...depends on variables (must have roo, broody/incubator, time...)
Dividing... hard (especially when it is Opas chicken and you don't want to share

Well, I want some Copper Marans-black or blue, BLRW; and DD wants a seabright hen or pullet for a house chicken. But, I just moved my last batch of chicks from my house to the coop two days ago, I don't think I want to start all over again with school starting soon

Well, I can scratch Cayuga duck off of my want list. I had soooooo much fun yesterday! I found an add on Craigslist for a sale on ducklings. Now I had remembered seeing this same persons adds all spring/summer and thinking, wow! This guy has a little bit of everything. Too bad it's so far away (I'm in West Branch and he's in Otter Lake). Well, after seeing that he had some Cayugas for $1, I had to check it out. So, husband and I went down there yesterday. I ended up leaving there with 6 cayugas, 4 calls, 4 silkies (looks like they might be partridge), 3 pekin (two might have some crested genes), 3 rouens and 6 black cochin chicks. I ended up getting all of these guys for $24.00!! This guy breeds them all spring/early summer and around this time of year he finishes up and sells off the rest of his stock for next to nothing. I was really impressed with his place. The birds were clean and looked great! They had plenty of room and you could tell this guy really cares about his birds. Not to mention, he has a little bit of everything there. So, looks like I might have some young Caugas and Cochins to take to the gathering if anyone is interested :).

Anish, I don't want to get anywhere near you!! I don't want to catch the Chicken Math bug, its a new bug you see and I am not immune to it. HaHaHa. I live in Lake George your not to far from me I go through WB when I go to a friends house in Hale. Having said that I would love some black Cochins, lol.

Oh. I have a REALLY bad case of chicken math (and duck math)!! Lol! Next time you are on your way through let me know and we ca meet up somewhere. As for the blk. cochins, I know I will have some that I am willing to part with once they are older and I know what I have (hen/roo wise).
