Had to throw out the rest of my eggs in the incubator :( day 14 and no development what so ever. I think I'm going to stay away from shipped eggs for a while.
 
sorry to hear about your eggs.. its really a gamble for shipped eggs.. there is so many factors.. that can cause the egg to go bad.
even the pro hatchers dont get good results from hatching shipped eggs. Big Hugs..

Shipped eggs always seem to not hatch more often the local eggs.


Thanks, it really is upsetting. But they went through a lot at the post office that I know of and I'm not even sure all that happened that I don't know of. I just really wanted those silkie eggs! Lol
Well at least my first batch of 25 chicks is coming next week, I think that'll cheer me up. :D

Shipped chicks have a better shot for sure.


Hope to start a hatch of my light brahma mixes, some EE's and Welsummers from a friend end of next week.
