These are some of my Jubilee Orps and Tolbunt Polish.

Thanks! They have great personalities too. The Jubilees are so docile. The Polish have put up with my 5 yr old holding them.

It's my birthday today and I put up my very first batch of EEers. 16 eggs in all. Both blue and pale green. Will be interesting to see what I get in 21 days :) And yes, I'll be wanting to sell as my Chicken Math went from adding to multiplication numbers.

I am interested in having a small flock, maybe three, of buff orpingtons. I chose those because they are hearty and I read they are sweet tempered. I will probably buy or build a movable coop or tractor. I will have to see if I can get permission from the township. From my understanding all I need is a signed permission from my abutting neighbors.. ha ha I have one, the other house is empty. I like the idea of getting older chickens, I would be willing to pay more for them to be a bit older than chicks if need be. I live in the Bay area but would be willing to drive or meet half way. For you northerners, I do have friends that live in Mesik so you could give me a good excuse to see them.
