i think he likes them more than he admits. He knows how much *i* like them and at the very least tolerates my obsession. He *did* stop and pick up chicks for me yesterday.I hope husband ended up loving them tho...
aww...i think he likes them more than he admits. He knows how much *i* like them and at the very least tolerates my obsession. He *did* stop and pick up chicks for me yesterday. After a hawk (we are 90% sure) took our while silkie last year he was on a mission to get more silkies and basically told me that when I found some to get them. AND, when our dog got into the chickens, the first question he asked (after 'did he get them ALL' was 'did he get Pickles?' which was his favorite BR and basically a lap chicken.)
I could not tell what that was sticking out in your photo, but the one thing you could make sure they can breathe? I am thinking if the head is out in the air I would leave it, but that other one could be hurting or helping, you never know!
I caught the baby when they were yawning, the beak sticks out.
