Good morning! Finally at a point where us getting chickens is looking like a possibility! We are in a residential area but have 2 acres and our coop location is going to be over 320 feet from the nearest neighbor on both sides and have about 10 neighbors within 1/8 mile from our coop. My city officials said a fat no to chickens but nothing in our code books against it.. In contact with RTA office for help.. Praying that we can make it happen!!!

PS.. Already have several neighbors who would purchase eggs and produce from us (have a 25' x 60' veggie plot)

Any advice is welcome!! Living in the tricites!!!

With great sadness I report that longtime member mcbeers has passed away in an auto accident. He is survived by his wife and two young children. Please keep them in your prayers.

I am from Macomb County also, breeding fancy.Easter Eggers (jubilee, Columbian, laced, feather footed) and my own line of Oregon Gray turkeys. Selling hatching eggs, chicks and assorted turkey poults in season.
