Thank you Randy. I was wondering if she could be a banty Sebright . . . I think she's going to be pretty! She's very friendly and quite fearless.

Long time no post michiganders. i will be at the alma show. just shopping and looking at all the birds. I purchased a little serama last year and won best of breed with her at another show.:lol
can't wait to see what gems I find this year.

You guys are hilarious! People have paid fines in pennies and were then cited for "contempt".

On another note:
A GC resident and her daughter stopped by while I was cutting wood. They saw the story and wanted to visit. They were looking for advice on gardening, composting and chicken keeping. I gave them the nickel tour and let the daughter feed some treats to the hens. I was pretty amused by their reactions and what not.

One comment that the mom made gave me pause. She said that I have a lot of stuff in my yard and it looks kind of messy. Well, I have to agree to a point. Everything that was out was being used or had been used today while doing chores. Cutting wood makes saw dust, raking leaves into piles, digging plants and such is dirty and messy work. I simply don't know how to do chores without being messy. I call it organized chaos.

If anyone knows how I can be Martha Stewart pristine while doing chores, please let me know.

My adoptees finally hanging out more than 20 feet from the coop. Adoptees came from MIChickens. Thinking we should do a photo album for him to post pics of the chicks everyone adopted from him. Who knows how to do this? And will everyone who adopted participate? I have several pics of the girls I got from him. Just a kinda thank you and we are here for you and support you kinda thing if he jumps on.
