Broody mama is doing great! A 3rd egg is chirping now too! Sure wish I could get a picture to upload.

I have a cleaning question (sort of). I want to put a select group of my pullets in with my blue splash rooster. What I would LIKE to do, is to put my lavender roo into one of the meat bird tractors, and just move the hens over to the coop/run that the blue roo is in. Do I need to clean out the coop before I do this? They've been next to each other for months, have a shared fence-line with my main coop/run so it's not like they aren't practically in each others' space already. Can I just swap everyone around, or do I need to clean everything out and disinfect first?

Thanks for the serama chickies today Theron! I'm so glad I came back and got the rest. I hope you got everyone situated in time despite me being a pest, and had good results at the show. At what age do you find you are able to tell pullet/cockerel? With the cochins I have it is quite easy since all the females have very small combs even as adults.

Alexander is licking his lips, maybe he shouldn't hold the chicks when he is hungry...

I'd say that brown one looks pretty relaxed!

Got to see some awesome BYC folks today at the show!
