I've been doing a lot of reading on chicken health this week. While we don't have this issue here, I think I read something about Preparation H being used to bring down the tissue swelling.On my 3 week old lav Orpington chick, the top of its vent is kind of sticking out.....like it didn't roll back in after it pooped or something. I noticed it yesterday, and its not changed today, and there is a bit of swelling around the vent as well. Is there anything I can do for this, or am I going to be culling a chick? (It is still pooping, running around, and generally acting like a chick)
