Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I hadn't planned on starting my quite this early but any day I'm here to start is just fine by me. Granny gets up around 8 so this early start gives me time to work the crossword puzzles and then have 3 1/2 hours to relax.

Wow, can't catch up with this thread. Thanks for the pics Daron, where's the new heifer pic? Been putting some nice pink coho in the freezer. The Platte has produced record numbers like no other year I've seen. The weir quota is probably filled with 20,000 fish being allowed upstream. Next week I've got to drop rabbits at another members house and plan some time at Tippy Dam. Probably just catch and release flyfishing. Then it's time to sharpen the bear razorheads and pull out the longbow. Deer are piling up like cord wood in our back 40. Barn is nearly done. What a working summer this has been. So, if you look close you can see the cohos under my flyline...

A mid August pic of my latest project. It's actually further on with the doors just about done. Hopefully in the next few weeks I can put a 99% done photo. Won't really be done until I get the ground reworked around it and some "animals" in there.

Very nice barn, John.

Lost chicken # 2 today to dog attack. Neighbor a half mile away has lab and a pit bull/boxer mix. Apparently they will break their chains. I guess we were lucky they only got little Diggie...she was such a personality. We nicknamed her "Louie" because she always "coo coo" ed like a trumpet when talking to us. RIP Diggie
