My mom made the casserole dish carrier and bought all the other stuff. I absolutely love the dish carrier, hand made gifts truly are from the heart

I'm so over this weather! We are on day 5 without power. The chickens would like their heated water bowls back too. I have more eggs than I can use! If anyone in the northern Oakland county area needs eggs to eat or hatch, come and get them! Our power restoration estimate is somewhere between today and Saturday.

The hedge hog is soooo adorable, he really does match the carpet.

I really miss watching the chickens and ducks playin in the pond and yard, sooo longing for Spring already. Making 3 trips a day right now because of the water freezin, but I'm glad in a way, cuz once i'm out there, I stay and play with them a lil while. They've been happy with the extra food treats, it's funny how the chickens really love turkey!!!

The casserole dish carrier is really pretty.

They said the transfer case was shot on truck-found a 2wheel drive one at junk yard and the auto repair will throw it in tomorrow, I will miss the 4wheel, but to expensive to fix. It was nice with wrestling matches all over Mi through the winter, O well, leave even earlier. Going to Mayville this Sat. Always like to post where meets are in case someone from BYC might be at one.

Looks like my silkie hen hatched out one pure fav chick, and 4 phoenix mutts. Some have fzzy faces... can't wait to see the rediculousness that grows out of that.

I hope our cochin bantam decides to go broody in the spring. Salt the rooster is doing his work with the hens. I would want to try some of the eggs Marian lays,the cross would be a speckled sussex/polish bantam. Although its up to if anyone even decides ro lay.

Bonnie the hen I got has only laid the one egg on the 23rd. Could she not being laying because she is working on growing feathers back, its cold, or she is still getting used to our coop? I just hope nothimg is wrong with her.
