Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Welcome to all the new people...seems like a bunch showed up all of a sudden. West Coast of Michigan is a big stretch. I'm in the Muskegon area of it. For all you newbies - I don't think the usual flock on here worries about too much in the way of social graces, lol! The ones that do usually leave. So, check out the links for Chickenstock and attend if you can.

Another beautiful up here! Way up North in Muskegon, lol!

question....when you all post do you start a new thread or just keep replying? I'm new to this. thank you

You can click quote on someone's message and respond to it or just click post a reply and post. It just keeps going and going. Sometimes your gone for a day or 2 and your only 10 pages behind and sometimes your 100 pages behind. lol This thread can move fast when everyone's on.

Getreal, it you are in a conversation or posted a thread about a specific topic, just reply in the the thread. If you have a topic you want separate from the general conversation, or a specific question or problem, you can do a search for answers on other threads, or start one of your own in the appropriate section of the Forum (for example, health questions in the Emergencies and diseases section, or chick questions in the Raising Backyard Chickens section).

Quick Question, I already posted this somewhere else (here) but I figure it couldn't hurt to ask.

I am getting one shipment from a hatchery around July 8th. I am getting another shipment from a different hatchery on July 24. At what point can I combine the 2?

I have plenty of room the brood them.
The first shipment also contains 3 ducks and 1 drake.

Thanks!
