Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Have to go to court this afternoon. DH has to testify for a friend of the family in a small claims case. I'll just be going for moral support. I love going to court though. I used to do it often in former work that I did. Court proceedings are like a play production. Everyone has a part to play, though sometimes it ends up feeling like stand up comedy. I'm guessing that Raz has not felt that way though with his frequent appearances.
I find the process rather fascinating. So many people are intimidated by the judge and lawyers and often get bullied. Then there are some of the excuses that people use to try to get off. It can be quite entertaining...unless you are facing jail time for having chickens. (I could beat up someone, drive drunk or shoplift and get the same sentence.)

Just a few more weeks before my return engagement.

I am trying to figure out the best way to take over the MI members list thread...
If I post everyones names again without asking can I get in trouble? Even if I post that I will remove the names if they ask?

If I post all the names in the original post... they can only be editted for a period of time, then I can no longer edit the original post.
BUT if I post them as the first comment, I can change that whenever I want right?

Should I just start a new list and include the first in my original post?
That sounds like a lot of work.
What is the purpose of the MI members list thread?

HELP!!! My sons Jersey Giants are dying one at a time. First it was one of his pullets then another a week or so later now its been less then two months and his beautiul black young roo is dying of what I don't know. They just are listless and within 24 hours are gone. All the other chickens so far are great but so were they. Its just strange that they are all Giants.

Anyone near Rockford/Grand Rapids want some bantam cochin chicks? At this point, I'm willing to give them to any BYC member for free as long as all six are taken. I was impulsive when our rooster died and incubated some of his eggs, but I really don't have room for these guys. I believe 4 are hens and 2 are going to be roosters but they are a bit young to know for certain. We are leaving for Wisconsin Wednesday night so I really need to relocate them by then!

Uhm, I will take them, I got a delivery of chicks born on Labor day, so I should be able to assimilate them well. I will email you also in case you don't see this.

Need more detail................. are the others vaccinated, did you get the giants together, are they raspy, are they pooping normal, ANYTHING different at all??? I hope someone is able to help you better. That's so sad and frustrating.

Hugg-sy, so named because he/she greeted each one as they came out

Cocoa's last gift to me, It's a girl!!! Her girl babies always had big beards, and this one has the biggest beard of them all

"Blondie" so far, but that won't be permanent. Also bearded

I gave up on individual, here's the rest! 6 all together, the other 3 eggs haven't pipped so they are probably quitters.
