Quick color search shows some pretty colors...maybe should just call her a Favorelle....

She definitely looks like a rare millie fleur pattern favorolle? First i've seen them bred for that color but very pretty!!! "Salmon" is just the color in their name, as "millie" is for d'uccles. Yours looks like a big d'uccle with that color! I am sure she will be highly coveted! You could use a millie d'uccle bantam roo to get you going should you breed for it, since the hen is standard the babies will be large fowl as well; or slightly smaller but not by much. If you do choose your roo carefully since hatchery ones tend to get mean at 1 year. Breeder's stock is docile.

More eye candy.

The cool weather has been phenomenally liberating!!!
Was able to get some pics of my junior flock, especially exciting is my Welsummer pair, they are just gorgeous to my eyes.

Has anyone ever seen a Light Brahma with a dark comb like this one?

Fluff Faces.

I was really just wanting her for eggs, but maybe I can find a sperm - donor for a month next year - I really have enough roos! And she came from a breeder that does not have the best breeding practices, so I won't get another from him and feel I lucked out :).

just wanted to share some pictures of my ducks

We love him, named him Kusco. He is super friendly when we hold him or for my kids to pet while I hold him. And with the other bird he's protective without being mean. Like if I mess with anything in his pen he is right there watching me.
