Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

@Candy442
Ah, geesh..so sorry about your injuries & losses. I must say, I've been fortunate that my only loss has been Spazzie; and, that was nothing to do with predators.
I still only let mine out if we are home. My neighbor's dogs are never loose unless she texts me & lets me know they want to let them run & to check if the girls are in (& they very rarely let them run as their fav area seems to be the cow pasture so they can roll in the manure!).

Yeah, knew something was up seeing a raccoon that early, not normal; still first time I have dispatched something myself that I didn't plan on eating. But, as it was just me home, had to do it. OH. and the other part of my interesting night, more of them on my ROOF last night (another reason we dispatch them, as they have done damage in the past). Those got a bye...for now, fair game if in yard.

Unfortunately its a no fault state and he had no insurance so he gets the upper hand. We could sue but how. He's poor without a job. Can't get blood from a rock. The best layer won't even waste time as the case is pointless cause there is no money to be made as the guy is a no good drunk who still live in his mommy's basement at almost 40yrs old. We talked to all kinds of folks on this one and because my hubby works for a company... That is y the guy can sue us.
For all who have insurance policies... Take a good look at the the small fine print and how we all pay for none insured drivers here in our state... You will be floored! Pretty much what its saying is it don't matter if you have no insurance. Your covered by folks who do.

tell me about it.. it all just went up... we pay about 700 a month in insurance..........

My brother went through this, the company he worked for's insurance wouldn't fight it and then if I remember correctly my brother got fired because the insurance company raised the rates because of the paid claim. From the woman who was at fault.

Ok all you bunny pushers.

My son checked out this ad http://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/for/4543803650.html ... He would be buying this himself & offered the woman $100 (his savings) and she accepted but said she would not include the cages (that I'm not seeing pictured there, only listed).

What do you guys this about this?

Sorry John, I don't think this setup would handle a flemish.

I'm all up in the air & out of my element here. What happened to "very very far future"? :/ DS is still working on dad for the final permission.

I think cages should be included myself...
Bunnies are dime a doz so at $100... He would be buying the used/weathered items... Not the animals.

Ya, I know that... He would be buying the equipment not the pair. I was wondering if it was worth it for the hutch/run, fence, & accessories. I don't care for those kind of instant (seemingly cheaply made) houses for chicken coops, but DH doesn't have the time right now to build a decent hutch and thanks to CS, DS has been on us like crazy. I do prefer a style that allows the rabbits access to grass & room to hop around (rather than just a caged up box). The kids have wanted rabbits for years, but CS (uchytil) really made the boy persistent. I keep telling him not now, he keeps shopping, it's wearing on us. **sigh***
