Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Our EE is 18 weeks old. Her face is getting redder with every day. Yesterday she kind of squatted. Today, she hung out in the nesting box with the silkie, looking like she was in training.
I'm pretty excited to see what color egg she gives us.

Thank you very much for letting me know. I called her when I got home from work and left a message. I'm more interested in white, but maybe saddleback will add a little variety to the flock I'm starting. So I guess the BIG question would be are the Sebastapol or Pomaranians. Thanks again........Laurie

Anyone have a good home remedy for stinky dog ears? Both my girl dogs have an odor to their ears, perhaps a yeast infection.

There is no discharge or visible debris and it doesn't seem to bother them. Just a strong odor.
walmart sells an ear cleaning solution just for dogs. reasonably priced.

I spent the last 3 days after work making zucchini bread, with my mom & best friend. Man am I whooped!

I started with this.... (the picture does not do them justice, they're mammoths!).

And ended with this...

We baked 66 loaves!! I came home with 22 of them... Gave 1 to the neighbor, family ate one, 2 on deck, and put 18 in the freezer. Yum.
